- Newsletter subscribers: email address only. Provided voluntarily when you subscribe.
- Contact form submissions: email address and the content of your message.
- Browser local storage: The Learning Path Builder saves your most recent tool inputs locally in your browser. This data does not leave your device and is not accessible to us.
- Analytics: We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals or use cookies for advertising purposes.
3. Cookies
We use a single preference cookie (smartseminar_cookie) to record whether you have accepted or declined our cookie notice. This cookie does not track your browsing behaviour and does not contain personal data beyond your preference choice. It expires after 12 months.
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking cookies, or cookies for profiling purposes.
4. How we use your data
- Newsletter email addresses: used solely to send the Smart Seminar dispatch. Not shared with third parties. Not used for any other purpose.
- Contact form data: used solely to respond to your enquiry. Not added to any marketing list.
5. Legal basis for processing
Processing of newsletter data is based on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). Processing of contact form data is based on legitimate interests in responding to direct communications (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
6. Data retention
- Newsletter data: retained until you unsubscribe. Deleted within 30 days of unsubscription.
- Contact form data: retained for 12 months and then deleted.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: right of access (Article 15), right to rectification (Article 16), right to erasure (Article 17), right to restriction of processing (Article 18), right to data portability (Article 20), and right to object (Article 21). 8. Third-party services
We use Google Fonts to serve the typefaces used on this site. This involves a request to Google's servers when you load a page. Google's privacy policy applies to this request. We do not share your data with any other third-party services.
