Accessibility Statement

Smart Seminar is committed to making its content accessible to all users. Last reviewed: January 2026.

Our commitment

Smart Seminar aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We believe accessible design is good design, and we build for accessibility from the start rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Technical implementation

  • All pages use semantic HTML5 elements with appropriate landmark roles
  • All images have descriptive alt text
  • Interactive elements are keyboard navigable
  • Colour contrast meets WCAG AA minimum ratios throughout
  • Font sizes use relative units (rem) that respect browser zoom settings
  • The role selector and all interactive tools include appropriate ARIA labels and live regions
  • The site does not rely on colour alone to convey information — Verdict Bands use both colour and text labels

Known limitations

The interactive tools (Skills Gap Analyser bar charts, decision tree SVG in the Learning Investment Framework) use visual representations that may not be fully accessible to screen reader users. We are aware of this limitation and are working to improve it. Alternative text summaries of tool outputs are included where possible.
